Job Summary

The Treasury Specialist is responsible for supporting the company's liquidity, funding, cash management, and financial risk management activities. This role ensures efficient cash flow planning, optimizes working capital, manages banking operations, and supports strategic treasury initiatives to maintain financial stability and support business growth.

Key Responsibilities
Cash Flow & Liquidity Management
  • Support the preparation and monitoring of short-term and long-term cash flow forecasts in close partnership with FP&A and business stakeholders.
  • Analyze working capital trends and key cash conversion metrics to optimize liquidity and improve cash performance.
  • Evaluate funding requirements and support the effective allocation of internal and external liquidity sources.
  • Monitor daily cash positions and ensure sufficient liquidity is maintained to meet operational and strategic requirements.
  • Manage and optimize cash pooling structures across entities and banking partners.
Treasury Operations
  • Process and administer bank guarantees, letters of credit, and cash-covered checks in accordance with company policies and banking requirements.
  • Maintain relationships with banking partners and support treasury-related banking activities.
  • Ensure compliance with treasury controls, procedures, and governance requirements.
Foreign Exchange & Financial Risk Management
  • Monitor foreign exchange exposures and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
  • Execute and manage derivative transactions in accordance with approved treasury policies and risk limits.
  • Support the investment of excess cash while balancing liquidity, security, and return objectives.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance treasury risk management strategies covering liquidity, FX, counterparty, and market risks.
Reporting & Analysis
  • Prepare treasury reports, dashboards, and leadership presentations on liquidity, cash flow, funding, investments, and risk exposures.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on treasury analytics and market developments.
  • Support periodic reviews and reporting for senior leadership and key stakeholders.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Professional treasury qualification (ACT, CTP, CFA, or equivalent) is a plus.
Experience
  • 5-8 years of experience in Treasury, Corporate Finance, Banking, or a related financial discipline.
  • Experience with cash management, liquidity planning, FX management, and treasury operations.
  • Exposure to derivatives, funding activities, and banking products is preferred.
Skills & Competencies
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
  • Solid understanding of treasury management principles, cash flow forecasting, and working capital management.
  • Knowledge of foreign exchange, financial markets, and risk management practices.
  • Proficiency with treasury management systems (TMS), ERP platforms, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to translate financial data into clear insights and recommendations for leadership.
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and compliance.
