Job summary

NWU in Quezon City, Philippines, seeks a Treasury Officer to manage loan releases, payments, and cash flow reporting. You will handle journal entries for AFP/SSS and Salary loans using QuickBooks and ERP, process vouchers, and ensure proper documentation.

The role requires accounting background (Accountancy) with exposure to tax regulations. CPA is a plus; experience with high-volume financial data and reporting is preferred. Work remains in a finance team environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Accountancy or related finance course.
• CPA is a plus.
• Experience with accounting software is advantageous.
• Knowledge of BIR tax regulations and government reporting compliance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Check loan releases and prepare journal entries for AFP, SSS, and Salary loan releases using QuickBooks and ERP.
• Prepare loan vouchers, check vouchers, and checks for approved payment requests and recording payments.
• Review operational expenses and billing for proper approval and documentation.
• Release checks and other payments according to scheduled due dates.
• Respond to internal client queries per company standards.
• Prepare daily cash flow statements and reconcile monthly cash flow against Trial Balance.
• Consolidate year-to-date monthly cash flow and prepare additional schedules and reports as requested by Finance.
• Monitor check vouchers released, cancelled, and post-dated; assist in turnover of check vouchers for archiving.
• Reconcile monthly unreleased checks and check vouchers.
• Monitor Official Receipt and Sales Invoice attachments for paid disbursements through branches and bank deposits.
• Perform other duties as assigned or in the absence of other Treasury Officers

Your Role

• Preparing loan vouchers, check vouchers, and checks for approved payment requests and recording payments
• Reviewing operational expenses and billing for proper approval and documentation
• Releasing checks and other payments according to scheduled due dates
