Job summary

BDO Unibank is seeking a Marketing Trader to generate target volume and income by coordinating with portfolio desks for best market prices and by marketing Treasury products to clients. The role includes negotiating deals, encoding transactions, and servicing the bank-client relationship.

The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree, at least 2 years in Treasury Marketing Sales, SEC license, and ideally TCP certification.

Qualifications

• Holder of a Bachelor's Degree.
• At least 2 years' experience in Treasury Marketing Sales.
• Must be a SEC Licensed Salesman.
• TCP certification is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates with portfolio desks to obtain the best market price/rate.
• Services client's requirements for all treasury transactions.
• Negotiates and executes deals as confirmed with clients.
• Encodes deal transactions in the designated system.
• Markets bank products to existing and potential clients to identify needs.
• Coordinates with Account Officers and other units to service and optimize client relationships.
• Provides clients with market condition updates and developments.

The Marketing Trader is responsible for generating target volume and income based on assigned market coverage and Treasury products.

Duties and Responsibilities

A. Trading

• Coordinates with different portfolio desks in getting the best market price/rate
• Services client's requirements for all treasury transactions

2.2. Negotiates and executes deals as confirmed with client

• Encodes deal transactions in the designated system

B. Marketing

• Conducts marketing calls to existing and potential clients to establish rapport and identify client's needs
• Identifies potential clients within target market
• Offers other bank products and services depending on their need, e.g. payroll, cash management
• Coordinates with Account Officer and other business units in servicing and optimizing bank-client relationship
• Provides client with recent market condition and developments
• Consistently be in the look-out for client's needs

C. MIS and Reporting

• Submits periodic performance reports to immediate supervisor
• Provides market feedback and account update to immediate supervisor
• Monitors client's requirements and volume based on budget given
• Performs other function as maybe assigned from time to time

Qualifications
