Job summary

Angat Hydropower Corporation is hiring for an accounting role based in Pasig, Philippines. The candidate will handle day-to-day recording, reporting, and reconciliations, including WESM sales receipts and communications with partners on regulatory issues.

The position also covers disbursement management and ensuring compliance with national and local regulators and lenders. Immediate availability is preferred, with duties performed under the Finance Manager and CFO.

Qualifications

• Record day-to-day financial transactions and prepare periodic reports including financial statements, schedules, and bank reconciliations.
• Issue Official Receipts to customers for sales made through WESM.
• Communicate with sellers and customers on concerns under BIR Ruling OT-323/2021 related to WESM transactions.
• Manage weekly and monthly disbursements of the company.
• Monitor and implement processes to meet regulatory compliance with national/local regulators and banks.

Responsibilities

Job description

• Primarily responsible in recording the day-to-day transactions of the company and the preparation of the periodic reports thereon, to include the company's financial statements accounting schedules, bank reconciliation statements and other reports that may be requested by the Finance Manager or the Chief Finance Officer & Treasurer




• Issuance of Official Receipt to all customers/buyers in all sales made through the WESM.




• Communicate with sellers/generation companies and customers/buyers on all the concerns under BIR Ruling No. OT-323 2021 related to sales and purchases transactions made through WESM.




• Managing the weekly/monthly disbursements of the company.




• Monitoring and execution of processes and procedures to meet the Company's compliance requirements to national and local government regulators and creditor banks.
