Sun Life is seeking a Treasury Analyst in Manila to manage daily securities settlements, fund reporting, and accounting entries. The role requires at least 1 year in Treasury Operations and a Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, with CPA preferred for advancement.

You will coordinate with banks, process transfers, and monitor NAVPU publications, contributing to accurate financial reporting and cash management.

Formación

• Experience: at least 1 year in Treasury Operations.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy is required.
• CPA is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare trade matching and settlement instructions and record daily securities settlement in PAM.
• Prepare daily Investable Funds Report for Segregated and General Funds.
• Record manual journal entries in PAM & SUN GL, SAP.
• Coordinate with banks on maturities of money market placements and other cash-related queries.
• Process fund transfers to/from various banks, manual or online.
• Monitor NAVPU publication on websites and broadsheets and other internal reports.

Job Description:

Treasury Analyst

• Prepares trade matching and settlement instruction and records daily securities settlement in PAM
• Prepares daily Investable Funds Report timely and accurately for Segregated and General Funds
• Records manual journal entries (correcting, adjusting and reversing) pertaining Investments accounts in the Investment system (PAM) & SUN GL, SAP
• Coordinates and confirms daily with banks on maturities of money market placements and other settlement and cash-related queries
• Process fund transfers to / from various banks, manual or online
• Handles updating and monitoring of NAVPU publication on various websites and broadsheets and other needed internal reports

Preferred skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy
• preferrably a CPA

Qualifications:

• Experience: at least 1 year in Treasury Operations

Technical/Soft Skills:

• Proficient in MS Office (Excel and Word)/Internet applications
• Good English communication skills (oral and written)
• Ability to analyze and resolve issues/concerns on a timely basis
• Personal attributes such as initiative, attention to detail and with sound work ethics
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
