Job summary

Sun Life of Canada (Philippines), Inc. is seeking a Treasury Analyst to support daily cash management, settlement processing, and reporting within the Treasury team.

You will handle securities settlements in PAM, prepare funds reports, and liaise with banks on maturities and cash-related queries. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Accountancy, preferably a CPA, with at least 1 year in Treasury Operations, strong Excel skills, and solid English communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy required.
• CPA preferred for advancement.
• At least 1 year of experience in Treasury Operations.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel/Word) and Internet apps.
• Good English communication (oral & written).
• Able to analyze and resolve issues promptly.

Responsibilities

Job description

Treasury Analyst

• Prepares trade matching and settlement instruction and records daily securities settlement in PAM

• Prepares daily Investable Funds Report timely and accurately for Segregated and General Funds

• Records manual journal entries (correcting, adjusting and reversing) pertaining Investments accounts in the Investment system (PAM) & SUN GL, SAP

• Coordinates and confirms daily with banks on maturities of money market placements and other settlement and cash-related queries

• Process fund transfers to / from various banks, manual or online

• Handles updating and monitoring of NAVPU publication on various websites and broadsheets and other needed internal reports

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy

• Preferably a CPA

• With at least 1 year experience in Treasury Operations

• Proficient in MS Office (Excel and Word)/Internet applications

• Good English communication skills (oral and written)

• Ability to analyze and resolve issues/concerns on a timely basis
