Job summary

Sun Life Assurance Company of Canada Philippines is seeking a Treasury Analyst to support daily trade matching and settlements, prepare investable funds reports, record journal entries in PAM and SAP, and coordinate with banks on maturities and cash-related queries, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, preferably CPA, with at least 1 year of Treasury Operations experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepares trade matching and settlement instruction and records daily securities settlement in PAM.
• Prepares daily Investable Funds Report timely for Segregated and General Funds.
• Records manual journal entries pertaining Investments accounts in PAM & SUN GL, SAP.
• Coordinates and confirms daily with banks on maturities of money market placements and other settlement queries.
• Process fund transfers to/from various banks, manual or online.

Treasury Analyst

Job Description:

• Prepares trade matching and settlement instruction and records daily securities settlement in PAM
• Prepares daily Investable Funds Report timely and accurately for Segregated and General Funds
• Records manual journal entries (correcting, adjusting and reversing) pertaining Investments accounts in the Investment system (PAM) & SUN GL, SAP
• Coordinates and confirms daily with banks on maturities of money market placements and other settlement and cash-related queries
• Process fund transfers to / from various banks, manual or online
• Handles updating and monitoring of NAVPU publication on various websites and broadsheets and other needed internal reports

Preferred skills:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy
• preferrably a CPA

Qualifications:

• Experience: at least 1 year in Treasury Operations

Technical/Soft Skills:

• Proficient in MS Office (Excel and Word)/Internet applications
• Good English communication skills (oral and written)
• Ability to analyze and resolve issues/concerns on a timely basis
• Personal attributes such as initiative, attention to detail and with sound work ethics
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
