Job summary

American Express Global Business Travel is seeking a Business Systems Analyst in Manila to drive application testing across UI and API, validate bug fixes and new features, create and prioritize user stories, and support backlog management. The role demands strong travel industry experience, hands-on online booking tool knowledge, and keen analytical skills.

You will collaborate with development teams to deliver improvements.

Qualifications

At least 3 years of Business Systems Analyst experience or the equivalent.
Solid travel industry background.
Hands-on experience with online booking tool.
Demonstrated experience writing test cases and accomplishing QA/UAT testing.
Proficiency in creating business documentation (BRDs, user stories, process maps, etc).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to details.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Confluence, JIRA and AI.
Experience in GDS and Travel Industry.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Scheduling flexibility to support product releases.

Responsibilities

Application testing (UI and API).
Application validation for bug fixes and new functionality/enhancements.
User story creation and prioritization.
Assist with managing a product backlog.
Attend internal meetings with collaborators for an array of projects and initiatives.
Release planning.
Incident management.
Defining and recording guidelines.
