Job summary

SF Express Philippines Inc. is seeking a Logistics Procurement/Operations professional to support trucking opportunities, source suppliers, and develop transportation solutions for telecoms and large home-appliance clients.

You will coordinate with Procurement, Legal, Finance, and Operations to ensure compliant, cost-effective transportation. You will analyze routes, capacity, and rates, manage tenders, track performance, and maintain records of suppliers and quotations, while coordinating with

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in logistics, trucking operations, transportation procurement/sourcing, business support, or transportation solutions.
• Good knowledge of the Philippine trucking and transportation market, including supplier landscape and pricing.
• Experience in trucking supplier sourcing, quotation and rate comparison, transportation solution development, contract coordination, or tender management is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, presentation, documentation, and coordination skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple transportation activities and operational issues.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with internal teams, customers, and external suppliers.
• English proficiency is required. Mandarin Chinese or Filipino language capability is an advantage.
• Valid driver's license is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support Sales in identifying, qualifying, and following up on trucking business opportunities, particularly for telecoms and large home-appliance clients.
• Understand customer transportation requirements, including routes, vehicle types, capacity, schedules, operating models, compliance, and commercial terms.
• Source and evaluate trucking suppliers through market research, quotation collection, rate comparison, capacity assessment, service evaluation, site audits, and qualification processes.
• Develop transportation quotations and solutions based on customer requirements and supplier rates.
• Coordinate trucking supplier contracts with Procurement, Legal, Finance, Operations, and other teams.
• Monitor the end-to-end transportation process, including order assignment, pickup, status, delivery, POD/ePOD, and exceptions.
• Monitor supplier performance in terms of service quality, capacity, timeliness, compliance, and cost competitiveness.
• Coordinate with Operations and trucking suppliers to resolve transportation issues and implement timely service recovery.
• Support customer tenders by coordinating requirements, collecting costs and quotations, developing transportation solutions, consolidating documents, and tracking submissions.
• Maintain accurate records of trucking suppliers, quotations, tenders, transportation activities, and business opportunities.
• Prepare and provide regular updates on transportation and business development activities.
