Job summary

EssilorLuxottica is seeking a Planning Supervisor to lead Optodev planning activities for Transitions, ensuring effective inventory and production planning. You will develop planners' competencies, drive KPIs, and support global continuous improvement initiatives to boost efficiency and customer satisfaction.

The role requires 3–5 years in planning-related roles within manufacturing, strong knowledge of ERP/MRP systems, and leadership capabilities. A CPIM/CSCP certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in Planning, Supply Chain, Inventory Management, or Production Planning in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of production planning, inventory management, demand planning, and supply chain processes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems such as Oracle, SAP, or MFG Pro.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
• APICS CPIM, CSCP or equivalent certification is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage inventory and production planning processes to optimize stock and service levels.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning accuracy and efficiency.
• Supervise and mentor the planning team to ensure timely and accurate WOs for VMI and MTO.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on ERP/EDI deployments and system enhancements.
• Support new product introductions, transfers, and process improvements.
