Job summary

Straive seeks a Senior Transition Manager to lead project and program transitions, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery. You will coordinate multiple teams, manage risks, and drive post-transition support while reporting to the AVP, Transitions.

Ideal candidates excel at stakeholder management, planning rigor, and delivering quality outcomes under tight deadlines, with experience leading large programs and expertise in SDLC/Agile environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ overall experience in IT/ITeS/BPM (non-voice) sector.
• 3+ years experience in driving transitions / projects.
• Experience in leading at least 3 large programs independently.
• Experience in handling client escalations and effectively address them to closure.
• Proficient in making project plans, milestone tracking and effective reporting using Microsoft Office or Google.
• Ability to work under tight timelines and deliver results with minimal supervision.
• Effective interpersonal, team building and communication skills.

• Drives the delivery of the program/project keeping the objectives of time, cost, quality and Customer Satisfaction in mind.
• Demonstrates strong communication skills, coordinate with stakeholders and drives transition review cadence.
• Manages overall transition program in line with the defined transition methodology.
• Conducts detailed transition planning in accordance with program objectives.
• Monitors and governs overall progress against the defined plan.
• Tracks all actions and deliverables associated with the program/project.
• Tracks and resolves issues.
• Manages expectations across key internal and external stakeholders of the project.
• Manages and motivates the team for expected level of performance and deliverable quality.
• Manages and resolve team / stakeholder conflicts.
• Identifies, evaluates, and manages risks through the transition lifecycle.
• Reports transition progress at defined intervals to senior executives & stakeholders.
• Manages Transition checkpoints as per schedule including effective handover to operations team.
• Documents and shares project learning’s for continuous improvements.
• Participate in RFP responses, client discussions/presentations/workshops from representing and customizing the transition approach

About the Role

The individual manages transition for projects/programs and drives planning, cross-functional coordination, go-live and post transition support. Helps identify, manage, and mitigate risks/issues in order to facilitate on-time and on-budget delivery. The professional would need to be focused on successful delivery of the whole of the proposed change, through effective coordination between multiple teams/functions, effectively manage inter-dependencies and ensure clear accountability/ownership of respective activities. The position will report to the AVP, Transitions under Head of Strategic Programs & Transition.
