About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Traffic Management Designer (TMD Level 3) who can also take responsibility for weekend emergency operations support. This role combines technical design expertise with real-time problem-solving, making it ideal for someone who thrives in both planning and fast-paced, urgent situations.

The work schedule follows a 5-day workweek, including Saturday and Sunday plus three weekdays.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and review traffic management designs to Level 3 standards

Handle emergency operational calls on weekends, assessing situations, escalating as needed, and providing confident guidance to field staff

Collaborate with clients, councils, and operations teams to ensure smooth delivery of urgent and planned designs

Ensure all designs meet Austroads, AS1742, and local authority compliance requirements

Maintain accurate records and clear communication between stakeholders

About the Client

Our client is a Queensland-based service provider specializing in traffic control, vacuum excavation, and labour hire services. They work across various sectors, including major infrastructure, council projects, commercial sites, and residential developments.
