Job summary

Phitopolis International Corp. is seeking a Trade Support Engineer to monitor and optimize production trading platforms and supporting infrastructure in a fast-paced FinTech environment.

You will work with Development, Infrastructure, Data, and Research teams to investigate incidents, automate tasks, and improve platform reliability and performance, leveraging modern observability and AI-assisted tooling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in production support for mission-critical apps, preferably in financial services or trading environments.
• Strong Linux/UNIX administration and troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency in Python, Shell (Bash), and SQL for automation and tooling.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Ensure stability, availability, and performance of production trading apps and supporting services.
• Monitor trading systems and connectivity using observability tools.
• Investigate incidents affecting trade execution, latency, or connectivity.
• Automate operational tasks, deployments, and health checks to reduce risk.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Collaborate with Development, Infrastructure, Data, and Research teams to improve reliability.
