Job summary

Golden Acres Food Service Corporation is seeking a driven Trade Sales Representative to grow sales and build strong retailer, distributor, and wholesaler relationships within the assigned territory. The role emphasizes product availability, excellent service, and attainment of sales targets.

You will conduct regular field visits to wet markets, sari-sari stores, and institutional accounts, promote products, monitor pricing, and provide timely reports.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years or more in sales in FMCG/food distribution is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for building retailer and distributor relationships.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned territory and conduct regular field visits.

Responsibilities

• Develop new trade accounts and identify potential customers within the assigned territory
• Promote and sell the company's products to new and existing trade customers
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
• Conduct regular field and market visits to monitor product availability, pricing, customer requirements, and competitor activity
• Build and maintain strong relationships with retailers, resellers, distributors, wholesalers, and other trade partners
• Provide customers with information regarding products, pricing, promotions, and product usage
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries, concerns, and after-sales requirements
• Prepare and submit accurate sales reports, route coverage updates, and relevant market insights
• Monitor customer accounts and assist in ensuring timely collection of payments according to agreed credit terms
• Coordinate with Warehouse, Logistics, Customer Service, Finance, and other internal teams for timely order processing and delivery

Golden Acres Food Service Corporation is looking for a driven and customer-focused Trade Sales Representative who will be responsible for growing sales and developing strong business relationships within an assigned territory. The role focuses on managing and developing retailers, resellers, distributors, wholesalers, sari-sari stores, and institutional accounts while ensuring product availability, excellent customer service, and achievement of sales targets.

Key responsibilities

About you

• At least 1–2 years of sales experience, preferably in FMCG, food distribution, or a related industry


• Experience handling retail, trade, or distributor accounts is an advantage


• Strong interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills


• Goal-driven and results-oriented with the ability to work independently in the field


• Resourceful and adaptable when handling customer and field-related concerns


• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint


• Knowledge or experience using CRM or sales management systems is an advantage


• Comfortable conducting regular field visits, including visits to wet markets, retail stores, wholesalers, and other trade accounts within the assigned territory


• Willing to travel and conduct regular fieldwork within the assigned territory


• A valid driver's license is an advantage or may be required depending on the assigned area
