The Trade Marketing is a key commercial partner responsible for driving channel execution excellence through the planning, implementation, and continuous improvement of channel development initiatives. As an individual contributor, the role leads strategic projects that strengthen in-store execution, enhance shopper visibility, and improve the effectiveness of commercial programs across trade channels. Working closely with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Procurement, and external partners, the Channel Development Lead ensures flawless execution of channel initiatives while identifying opportunities to improve processes, execution standards, and overall business performance.
Own the planning and execution of channel development initiatives that support commercial priorities and sales objectives.
Lead the end-to-end management of Point-of-Sale Materials (POSM), including forecasting, production, inventory monitoring, deployment, and post-activity evaluation.
Drive execution excellence by developing deployment standards, implementation guidelines, and best practices for field sales teams.
Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Trade Marketing to ensure timely execution of product launches, promotional campaigns, and customer activation programs.
Collaborate with Procurement, Logistics, and Supply Chain to ensure efficient production and nationwide deployment of POSM and marketing assets.
Monitor field execution and analyze deployment effectiveness, providing insights and recommendations to improve commercial execution.
Evaluate channel activation programs by measuring execution quality, compliance, and business impact.
Identify opportunities to simplify processes, optimize resources, and improve operational efficiency across channel development activities.
Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure commercial initiatives are delivered on schedule and aligned with business objectives.
Prepare business updates, execution reports, and post-implementation reviews to support data-driven decision-making.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Management, Communications, or a related field.
At least 3–5 years of experience in Channel Development, Trade Marketing, Sales Operations, Customer Marketing, or Commercial Excellence within the FMCG, Consumer Goods, or Distribution industry.
Proven experience managing POSM programs, retail activation, merchandising initiatives, or field execution projects.
Strong understanding of retail execution, commercial operations, and channel development.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with sales reporting and analytics is an advantage.
Strong project management, analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders without direct authority.
