BJ Marthel International Inc. is seeking a Tool Keeper and Driver to safeguard company tools and equipment, manage inventories, and support vehicle movements for site operations.
The role requires basic tool handling, inventory management, and a valid driver's license, with emphasis on safety and compliance with ISO standards. You will maintain logs, conduct inspections, and assist with site mobilization as required.
The Tool Keeper / Driver is responsible for the safekeeping, inventory control, maintenance, issuance, and return of company tools and equipment. This role ensures that all tools are properly managed and available for use by authorized personnel.
Knowledge of inventory management and basic tools.
Maintain accurate inventory and condition of tools and equipment.
Receive, inspect, and tag new tools; issue tools to authorized personnel.
Conduct regular inventory audits and report on tool status.
Ensure proper storage, organization, and security of tools.
Coordinate repairs and replacements as needed.
Physically fit to handle equipment and materials.
100% accountability for assigned tools.
Timely issuance and retrieval of tools.
Maintain inventory databases, issuance logs, and maintenance records.
Prepare reports on tool inventory status.
Report any incidents or damages involving company assets.
Strong organizational and time management abilities.
Basic computer skills (MS Office).
Follow safety policies and participate in safety trainings.
Ensure safe handling and transportation of tools and materials.
Comply with ISO management systems and safety requirements.
Safely operate company vehicles for transporting personnel, tools, and materials.
Deliver and collect materials, supplies, and documents as needed.
Assist with loading, unloading, and securing equipment.
Conduct daily vehicle inspections and ensure cleanliness and road worthiness.
Monitor vehicle maintenance schedules and compliance with regulations.
Maintain trip logs, fuel records, and mileage reports.
Adhere to traffic laws and company driving policies.
Plan efficient travel routes for timely deliveries.
Support project teams during site mobilization as required.
Maintain inventory databases, issuance logs, and vehicle records.
Prepare weekly and monthly reports on tool inventory and vehicle use.
Report incidents or damages involving company assets.
Ensure compliance with ISO document control and asset management policies.

Education: At least a Senior High School Graduate; vocational training in Automotive, Logistics, or related fields is a plus.
Experience: Relevant experience as a Tool Keeper or in related roles preferred; experience in construction or engineering projects is advantageous.
