Tool Issuance & Return:

• Issue tools to authorized personnel based on approved Tool Request Forms.
• Ensure defective or damaged tools are surrendered before releasing replacements.
• Inspect returned tools for condition and completeness.
• Record all tool movements in the monitoring system or logbook.

Inventory Control & Monitoring:

• Maintain updated inventory records of all tools and equipment.
• Conduct regular physical inventory and reconciliation.
• Monitor tool usage, condition, and lifespan.
• Identify missing, damaged, or obsolete tools and report immediately.

Documentation & Reporting:

• Maintain proper documentation of Tool issuance, Tool return, Repair and maintenance history
• Disposal records
• Prepare monthly inventory and status reports.
• Ensure all tools are properly tagged and labeled.

Tool Maintenance Coordination:

• Coordinate repair and calibration of tools when necessary.
• Monitor warranty status of tools.
• Follow up with suppliers or service providers regarding repair status.

Storage & Organization:

• Ensure tools are properly stored, organized, and secured.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety within the tool storage area.
• Implement proper labeling and classification system.

Compliance & Accountability:

• Enforce company policies on tool accountability.
• Ensure no replacement tool is issued without turnover of defective item (as per company policy).
• Assist in investigation of lost or damaged tools.
