Job summary

Prithvi Inner Wears Private Limited is seeking a Worker for the cutting/production area. The role involves assisting the Team Leader in daily sewing production activities, learning the complete sewing process, and supporting operators to hit daily targets.

You will monitor line performance, help with quality and safety, coordinate with maintenance and quality teams, and ensure availability of machines, materials, and trims.

Qualifications

• 12th standard completion required.
• Ability to learn sewing production process.
• Willingness to support operators and helpers.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Team Leader in managing daily sewing production activities.
• Learn and understand the complete sewing production process.
• Support operators and helpers in achieving daily production targets.
• Monitor line production and report delays or problems to the Team Leader.
• Assist in maintaining required quality standards.
• Coordinate with operators, checkers, quality, and maintenance teams.
• Support proper line balancing and manpower allocation.
• Follow up on absenteeism and manpower requirements.
• Ensure machines, materials, trims, and accessories are available for production.
• Monitor operator performance and provide basic process support.
• Follow company safety, discipline, and housekeeping requirements.
• Maintain production records and assist with daily reporting.
• Identify production issues and inform the Team Leader.
• Learn line planning, target setting, efficiency calculation, and production monitoring.
• Support training and guidance of new operators and trainees.
• Maintain 5S and cleanliness in the sewing line.
• Follow instructions from the Production Manager and Team Leader.
• Develop leadership and communication skills for future Team Leader responsibilities
