Job summary

Prithvi Inner Wears Private Limited is seeking a dedicated Line Operator for ironing, packing and quality control within the Production department. You will follow approved finishing methods and ensure garments meet standards.

Key tasks include operating steam iron and packing as per instructions, checking sizes/colors, labeling and carton assembly, and reporting defects to supervisors. This permanent full-time role requires a minimum 12th pass and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Minimum educational qualification is 12th pass.
• Experience in ironing & packing preferred.
• Willing to work in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate the steam iron / pressing equipment safely.
• Iron garments according to the approved sample and finishing requirements.
• Verify size, colour, style, label and packing accessories before packing.
• Pack garments according to carton / assortment instructions and ensure correct quantity.
• Report any quality issues to the Supervisor / Quality Checker.

Job Description

A. Ironing Responsibilities

• Operate the steam iron / pressing equipment safely.
• Iron garments according to the approved sample and finishing requirements.
• Maintain proper temperature and steam pressure according to fabric type.
• Ensure garments are free from wrinkles, creases, and unwanted marks.
• Avoid ironing defects such asshine marks, scorch marks, water stains, and burns.
• Handle garments carefully to prevent damage during ironing.
• Report any quality issues to the Supervisor / Quality Checker.

B. Packing Responsibilities

• Check finished garments before packing.
• Verifysize, colour, style, label, tag, and packing accessories as per instructions.
• Fold garments according to the approved folding method.
• Insert garments into polybags correctly.
• Apply stickers, size labels, barcodes, and price tags as required.
• Pack garments according to carton / assortment instructions.
• Maintain correct quantity in each carton or packing unit.
• Ensure cartons are properly closed, labelled, and stacked.
• Segregate defective or damaged garments before packing.
• Maintain packing accuracy and avoid mix-ups.

5. Quality Responsibilities

• Follow approved finishing and packing standards.
• Check garment appearance before packing.
• Prevent stains, loose threads, wrinkles, and pressing defects.
• Ensure correct size and colour assortment.
• Immediately report quality problems to the concerned supervisor
