Qualifications

• 6 months to 1 year experience as assistant cook or line cook in a Thai restaurant or professional kitchen
• Knowledge of Thai cuisine, ingredients, and cooking techniques
• Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Keen attention to detail and a commitment to food quality and presentation
• Food safety certification or willingness to obtain one

Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Chef or team leads in the preparation and cooking of Thai dishes
• Ensure all dishes are prepared according to traditional Thai recipes and presentation standards
• Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment
• Check inventory levels and communicate supply needs to the Head Chef
• Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations
• Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer queries or requests
