Job summary

Teradyne Philippines is seeking a PCB test technician to perform full test procedures on Teradyne PCBAs and set up the required systems. The role requires keen attention to detail, experience with board repair and soldering, and the ability to troubleshoot using data logs with support from engineers.

You will collaborate to improve processes, ensure quality standards, and participate in packing and shipping activities.

Qualifications

• Electronics technology or industrial electronics graduates with relevant board repair experience.
• Knowledge of electronics board troubleshooting, de-soldering and repair.
• Experience in hardware/software validation and verification for medium/high-end testers is a plus.
• Goal-oriented, flexible and hardworking; computer literate.

Responsibilities

• Keen attention to details and 100% compliance with PCBA handling procedures.
• Run full test procedures of Teradyne PCBAs and system setup per procedures.
• Interpret failure data logs and follow troubleshooting steps with engineers or supervisors.
• Execute defined testing steps and repeated procedures to fix PCBA.
• Perform visual inspection to ensure no defects after rework/reassembly.
• Pack and ship boards as required.
• Collaborate with Technicians and Engineers on process and quality improvements.
• Adhere to company rules, policies, guidelines, and procedures.

Opportunity Overview

• Keen attention to details, 100% compliance with PCBA handling procedures, must be physically able to pick up PCBA Assemblies and place inside a system or TBUs.
• Run the full test procedures of Teradyne PCBAs and System set-up based on the defined procedure.
• Interpret failure datalog from test programs and follow defined troubleshooting steps to fix the PCBA; work with other Technician, Engineer, or Supervisor for failures that are not yet defined.
• Run a number of defined specific steps to properly fix the PCBA performing repetitive defined testing and troubleshooting procedures.
• Perform visual inspection to ensure units have been reassembled/reworked and free from physical defects.
• Perform packing and shipping of boards.
• Works with other Technicians and Engineers in process and quality improvements, reliability issues as well as meeting department/section goals.
• Comply with company rules, policies, guidelines, and procedures.
