Job summary

Littelfuse Philippines, Inc. is seeking an engineer to provide process, design, and quality support for a designated product. You will contribute to design input, validation plans, prototypes/testing, and FMEA updates while ensuring thorough documentation.

You will coordinate with cross-functional teams and suppliers to drive testing, process improvements, and adherence to quality requirements, leveraging your engineering background and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
• 4+ years of experience in electronics/automotive manufacturing.
• Experience with statistical tools and Minitab.
• Six Sigma Green Belt is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provides design input, validation plan, prototypes/testing, complete ERN, ECO, drawings, datasheet and FMEA updates.
• Ensures proper documentation of technical documents for assigned product.
• Leads sample production of new products.
• Conducts follow-up on actions, PCN, deviations with relevant departments to gather necessary data.
• Coordinates preparation and distribution of CCR.
• Coordinates with supplier as technical liaison.
• Coordinates with relevant departments on testing, process and yield improvement.
• Participates, coordinates and ensures completion of quality-related requirements of a product.

• Coordinates with relevant departments on testing, process and yield improvement
• Participates, coordinates and ensures completion of quality-related requirements of a product.

About you:

• Graduate of a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
• 4+ years of work experience in an electronics / automotive manufacturing company
• Technical knowledge preferred
• Material Science knowledge preferred
• Well-versed in statistical tools and software like Minitab
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Six Sigma Green Belt certification is an advantage
