Job summary

Denso Philippines Corporation in Cebu City is seeking a Production Engineer to support manufacturing operations through process improvement, new product development, and machine optimization. You will develop schedules, design line concepts, and specify equipment to meet production goals.

The role requires BS in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Industrial/Mechatronics engineering, CAD basics, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Graduate in engineering with a related field and strong CAD interpretation.
• Fundamental knowledge of manufacturing processes and safety standards.
• Experience in troubleshooting machine and process defects is advantageous.

About the Job

Reporting to the PE Team Leader, the Production Engineer we seek shall support our manufacturing operations through process improvement, new product development, machine evaluation, and product optimization.

• Develop and maintain New Product Development Schedule
• Prepare production line concepts and process flow designs
• Create machine specifications based on operational requirements
• Evaluate, test, and validate new machine and equipment
• Prepare machine layouts and oversee installation activities
• Conduct investigations and implement countermeasures for machine and production line issues
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and efficiency

Basic Qualifications:

• Graduate of BS Mechanical Engineering, BS Electronics Engineering, BS Electrical Engineering, BS Industrial Engineering, BS Mechatronics Engineering or any related course
• Basic knowledge of CAD software and technical drawing interpretation
• MS Office Application proficient
• Basic knowledge of machine operation, safety standards, and manufacturing processes
• Experience in troubleshooting and investigating machine, process, and product defects
• Familiarity with basic manufacturing documents
• Knowledge of basic machine automation will be an advantage
• Good communication and presentation skills
