Jade Solutions and Management Services is seeking a Process Engineer to design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
You will lead cross-functional teams, perform feasibility studies and simulations, maintain SOPs, monitor metrics, and drive continuous improvement and lean initiatives in a high-volume environment. Experience with Six Sigma and strong documentation skills are preferred.
Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality
Collaborate with product development teams to translate product designs into scalable, cost-effective manufacturing solutions
Conduct feasibility studies and process simulations to identify potential improvements and mitigate production risks
Establish and maintain process documentation, standard operating procedures, and work instructions
Monitor production performance metrics and identify opportunities for process optimisation and waste reduction
Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve product quality, consistency, and reliability
Perform material and component testing to ensure compliance with specifications and standards
Support capital equipment selection, commissioning, and validation
Liaise with suppliers to qualify materials and components that meet quality and cost requirements
Contribute to continuous improvement programmes and lean manufacturing initiatives
Bachelor's degree in Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline
3-5 years of professional experience in process engineering, manufacturing engineering, or product development
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and process optimisation techniques
Proficiency in process simulation and modelling software
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyse complex technical challenges
Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments
Proficiency in technical documentation and CAD software
Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements
Proven project management experience and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Preferred: Experience in the manufacturing sector with exposure to high-volume production environments
Preferred: Certification in Six Sigma, lean manufacturing, or equivalent quality management systems
