Private Advertiser in Metro Manila seeks an Automation Test Manager to lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of the automation testing strategy across multiple platforms.

You will architect scalable automation frameworks, align with governance and compliance, and work with developers, QA, infra, and DevOps to integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines. The role requires deep technical depth and excellent communication with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 11+ years of hands-on testing experience with 5+ years in leadership as Automation Test Architect/manager or similar.
• Experience with test management tools such as Azure DevOps or equivalent.
• Exposure to both Agile and Waterfall delivery models.
• Proven track record managing testing for large-scale, cross-functional programs.
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, frameworks, and lifecycle processes.
• Familiarity with financial services and banking regulatory considerations in testing.
• Deep technical depth in designing automation frameworks from scratch.
• Ability to perform risk-based analysis to prioritize automation efforts.
• ISTQB CTFL is required; CTAL – TM preferred.

About the role

The Automation Test Manager will lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of the automation testing strategy across multiple platforms. This role requires strong technical depth, the ability to architect solutions from the ground up, and the capability to translate testing needs into scalable, efficient, and maintainable automation frameworks. The ideal candidate is highly technical, detail-oriented, comfortable working with infra/DevOps teams, and able to communicate automation strategy clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end automation strategy, including framework design, execution, optimization, and maintenance

• Define what to automate using a risk-based and ROI-driven prioritization approach

• Develop scalable, modular, and maintainable automation frameworks aligned with business goals and quality standards

• Ensure alignment with test governance, compliance requirements, and organization-wide policies

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance stability, maintainability, execution speed, and overall automation effectiveness

• Collaborate closely with developers, QA, infra, and DevOps/RM teams to integrate automation into CI/CD/release pipelines

• Design and maintain a robust test data strategy that supports reliable, repeatable, and parallel execution

• Provide hands-on technical guidance, code reviews, and troubleshooting support to the automation team

• Communicate technical decisions, risks, and results effectively to stakeholders at all levels

About you

• Bachelor's degree relevant to the job

• Minimum 11 years of hands-on experience in manual and automation testing, with at least 5 years in an Automation Test Architect/manager or equivalent leadership role

• Hands-on experience with test management tools such as Azure Dev Ops or equivalent

• Experience in both Agile and Waterfall delivery models

• Demonstrated success in managing testing for large-scale, cross-functional projects or programs

• Solid understanding of industry-standard software testing methodologies, frameworks, and lifecycle processes

• Familiarity with financial services and banking operations, including regulatory and compliance considerations relevant to testing

• Strong technical depth in automation frameworks, including design architecture of test frameworks from scratch

• Ability to identify what to automate using risk-based analysis, ROI evaluation, and creating high-impact automation plans

• Professional Certification: ISTQB CTFL required; ISTQB CTAL – TM preferred
