Job summary

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Test Automation & Execution: Design, build, and maintain robust, scalable automated test scripts using Tricentis Tosca. Integrate automated suites into CI/CD pipelines where applicable.
• End-to-End Testing: Plan and execute Functional, Regression, Integration, System, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• API & Database Verification: Perform hands‑on API testing and database validation using advanced SQL queries to ensure data integrity and backend reliability.
• Lifecycle Management: Actively participate in the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and manage the Defect Life Cycle logging, tracking, and verifying bugs using tools like JIRA, ALM, or Azure DevOps.
• Agile Collaboration: Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and business analysts in an Agile/Scrum environment to understand requirements and deliver high-quality sprints.
• Documentation: Create, update, and maintain detailed test cases, test plans, automation strategies, and execution reports.
• Problem Solving: Troubleshoot, debug, and isolate complex software issues, providing clear documentation and root‑cause analysis to the development team.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in Software Testing, TOSCA, and Quality Assurance.
• Hands‑on experience in Automation Testing using Tosca.
• Experience in Banking or Financial Services industry is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Defect Life Cycle.
• Experience in Functional, Regression, Integration, System, and UAT testing.
• Knowledge in API testing, database testing, and SQL queries.
• Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools such as JIRA, ALM, or Azure DevOps.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environment.

• Ability to create and maintain automated test scripts and test documentation.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Knowledge in CI/CD pipelines and test automation frameworks is a plus.
• Tosca Certification is an advantage.
