Job summary

ESOL IT SERVICES INC. in Makati is seeking a Senior Test Manager to define testing strategy, manage cross-functional and offshore teams, and ensure quality delivery across Digital Wealth platform implementations.

The candidate will drive test planning, execution, and metrics, coordinate UAT with business users, and report progress to Delivery Managers and clients. Strong leadership and stakeholder management are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years of overall IT experience.
• At least 2 years of recent experience as a Test Manager.
• Strong experience managing large-scale Banking or Financial Services projects.
• Proven experience in Digital Wealth Platform implementations.
• Experience leading projects from new implementation or greenfield development.
• Strong stakeholder management and client-facing experience.
• Experience managing teams of 10 or more members, including offshore resources.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end Quality Engineering strategy for Digital Wealth platform implementations.
• Define comprehensive test strategies covering functional, integration, automation, performance, and user experience testing.
• Create overall Test Execution Plans, Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), testing schedules, and resource plans.
• Develop testing estimates, resource allocation plans, and identify technical skill requirements.
• Drive quality assurance activities from project initiation through production deployment.
• Collaborate with product, implementation, development, and business teams to ensure release quality.
• Manage cross-functional QE teams, including offshore resources.
• Assign work, monitor team performance, and ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
• Coordinate daily defect triage meetings and drive timely defect resolution.
• Track project risks, issues, dependencies, and mitigation plans.
• Monitor testing progress and provide regular project status reports to Delivery Managers, Program Managers, and client stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with client standards and testing processes.
• Maintain project documentation, knowledge repositories, and quality metrics.
• Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities with business users.
• Manage changing business requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across testing processes.
• Ensure adherence to onsite-offshore collaboration processes.
• Report testing metrics: Test execution progress, Test coverage, Defect metrics, Automation progress, Quality dashboards.
• Take overall accountability for testing quality and successful project delivery.
