Job summary

IGO TECHONOLOGIES is seeking a Quality Engineer – Test Management to lead software testing across multiple projects. The role focuses on developing test strategies, ensuring coverage, managing resources, and driving quality throughout the SDLC with a strong emphasis on both manual and automated testing.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, both manual and automated.
• Experience creating test strategies, test plans, and QA frameworks.
• Hands-on knowledge of testing tools including JIRA, ALM, Selenium, JMeter, Postman and Cypress.
• Experience managing functional, regression, performance, UAT and integration testing.
• Solid SDLC and Agile knowledge (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban).
• Experience with defect management and test traceability.
• Ability to analyze requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Experience leading or managing a QA/Test team.
• Strong resource planning, task assignment and workload management.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Quality Engineer – Test Management

About the Role

We are looking for a Quality Engineer – Test Management to lead and manage software testing activities across various projects and development teams.

The role will focus on developing test strategies, ensuring test coverage, managing testing resources, and driving quality throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of both manual and automated testing and be comfortable working with business stakeholders, developers, and project managers.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement test strategies, test plans, and QA frameworks

• Plan and manage testing activities throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

• Manage various testing types, including:

  • Functional Testing

  • Regression Testing

  • Performance Testing

  • User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

  • Integration Testing

• Analyze business and technical requirements to ensure adequate test coverage

• Manage defects, issue tracking, and test traceability

• Lead and coordinate QA and testing teams

• Plan testing resources, assign tasks, and manage team workloads

• Monitor testing progress, quality metrics, and deliverables

• Collaborate with developers, business stakeholders, project managers, and other teams to resolve quality issues

• Ensure testing activities align with Agile methodologies and project requirements

• Identify opportunities to improve testing processes, quality standards, and overall delivery
