Job summary

Teradyne is seeking an Electronics Engineering professional in the Philippines to support repair operations and engineering teams. You will collaborate with Repair Operations, Field Service, and Engineering to improve product reliability and quality throughout the lifecycle.

You will drive failure analysis, build data structures for reliability reporting, and support test equipment setup, validation, and upgrades while developing end-to-end repair capabilities and training for the Repair

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent courses.
• Must have high analytical skills.
• Must have a high sense of urgency.
• Must be capable of interfacing with cross-functional teams across different levels of the organization.
• Must have solid electronics troubleshooting skills.
• Must have solid automation troubleshooting skills.
• Must be flexible and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with the Repair Operations, Field Service Team, Sustaining Engineering (Mechanical and Hardware Team), Test Development Engineering (North Reading) with product improvement.
• Drives failure analysis and root cause identification to decrease field defective returns.
• Builds data structures to determine product reliability and generate reports based on both Repair Operations and Field Issues.
• Supports test equipment set-up, validation, and verification of software applications, equipment maintenance and upgrades, and the upkeep of tools and jigs.
• Pilot the set-up of end-to-end repair capabilities and conducts technical training for Repair Operations.
• Designs and reviews processes with that drives quality, reliability, and process improvements.
• Creates documentation for both repair processes and work instructions that is used in Repair Operations.
