Qualifications

Proven experience in designing and implementing test automation frameworks.
Expertise in Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript) for UI automation.
Strong knowledge of Selenium-based automation frameworks (Java preferred).
Experience with API test automation using Playwright, REST Assured, SoapUI or similar.
Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, test planning and defect management.

Responsibilities

Design, maintain, and enhance automated test frameworks and scripts for UI, API, regression, and functional testing.
Create and execute automation test plans aligned with project requirements and timelines.
Ensure automation solutions are scalable, reusable, and maintainable.
Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and support continuous testing initiatives.
Collaborate with QA, Development, DevOps, and Product teams to identify testing needs and improve software quality.
Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues.
Monitor automation coverage, execution metrics, and testing performance.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to automation best practices and standards.
Stay updated on emerging automation tools, technologies, and industry trends.
