Qualifications

• Proven experience in designing and implementing test automation frameworks.
• Expertise in Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript) for UI automation.
• Strong knowledge of Selenium-based automation frameworks (Java preferred).
• Experience with API test automation using Playwright, REST Assured, SoapUI or similar.
• Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, test planning and defect management.

Responsibilities

• Design, maintain, and enhance automated test frameworks and scripts for UI, API, regression, and functional testing.
• Create and execute automation test plans aligned with project requirements and timelines.
• Ensure automation solutions are scalable, reusable, and maintainable.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and support continuous testing initiatives.
• Collaborate with QA, Development, DevOps, and Product teams to identify testing needs and improve software quality.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues.
• Monitor automation coverage, execution metrics, and testing performance.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to automation best practices and standards.
• Stay updated on emerging automation tools, technologies, and industry trends.

About the Opportunity

As a Test Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for defining and driving the overall test automation strategy and designing scalable automation frameworks. You will collaborate closely with Development, QA, DevOps, and Product teams to integrate automation into the software delivery lifecycle and continuously improve testing practices.

• Design, develop, maintain, and enhance automated test frameworks and scripts for UI, API, regression, and functional testing.

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.




• Knowledge of test data management, environment configuration, and automation best practices.




• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.




• Familiarity with cloud-based testing tools such as BrowserStack or Sauce Labs.




• Experience with CI/CD tools and automated testing integration.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AI-driven test automation and intelligent test generation tools.




• Hands-on experience using Claude, GitHub Copilot, or similar AI-powered tools to improve automation development, test design, and productivity.




• Experience developing or enhancing automation frameworks in enterprise environments.
