You will translate requirements into testable cases, execute tests, and report defects while continuously improving testing processes.

Qualifications

• Experience in planning and executing automated tests.
• Knowledge of black-box and white-box testing techniques.

• Minimum two years of QA experience in software testing.

Use quality processes, automation tools, and methodologies to transform testing products and solutions. Run end-to-end quality engineering function with a focus on automation to improve control, accuracy and integrity.

General Accountability

Develop test plans, scripts, reports; translate user expectations to testable requirements, perform required tests

Responsibilities

• He should be able to understand the requirement and design test procedures and test cases for automated software testing.
• Design automated test scripts that are reusable.
• Ensure that all automated testing related activities are carried out as per the standards defined by the company
• To read all the documents and understand what needs to be tested.
• Based on the information procured in the above step decide how it is to be tested.
• Inform the test lead about what all resources will be required for software testing.
• Develop test cases and prioritize testing activities.
• Execute all the test case and report defects, define severity and priority for each defect.
• Carry out regression testing every time when changes are made to the code to fix defects.
• Reviews and translates requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide meaningful feedback to product developers
• Creates, maintains and executes automation test scripts
• Analyzes automation results and investigate failures
• Designs detailed and comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Perform regression testing when bugs are resolved
• Keeps up-to-date on latest test software and frameworks
• Drives software development process to quality-centric methodologies
• Controls, updates and distributes new and revised quality standards and technical changes

Technical Knowledge and Skills

• Knowledge and experienced software quality assurance
• Knowledge and experienced writing broad test plans and test cases
• Familiarity with black box and white box testing practices; familiar with technologies such as: Katalon and open-source testing frameworks
• Good knowledge of different testing techniques i.e. UI testing, Automated testing; familiar with behaviour driven testing
• Collaborative attitude, willingness to work with team members; able to coach, participate in code reviews, share skills and methods
• Minimum 2 year(s) of experience is required
