Job summary

Technical Education and Skills Development Authority CARAGA Region - Government seeks a competent professional to supervise and evaluate TESDA programs. You will monitor activities, assess indicators, validate program applications, and assist in policy development while maintaining strong community partnerships and information services.

The role emphasizes public relations, compliance with quality systems, and coordinating office operations to ensure deliverables meet targets and standards.

Qualifications

• Must be physically fit with good moral character.

Responsibilities

• Ensures proper implementation of programs by monitoring activities based on the approved plan.
• Evaluates program implementation by checking status of indicators against the plan.
• Evaluates applications for UTPRAS, PTCACS and other programs by validating documents for completeness, accuracy and authenticity before the Regional Director's signature.
• Evaluates assigned TESDA programs and presents findings and recommendations to supervisors.
• Assists the Provincial Director in developing policies by recommending guidelines, systems and procedures.
• Assists in establishing and maintaining public relations with the community through partnerships.
• Visits and suggests improvements of community extension projects within the school’s jurisdiction.
• Assists agency beneficiaries by providing accurate information on programs and services, and requirements.
• Maintains public relations with community, industry, government and NGOs through regular communication and engagement.
• Assists in preparing the Office Commitment and Review Form by recommending work distribution and scheduling.
• Assists in coordinating and monitoring operations of the Office by tracking progress and reviewing outputs.
• Assists in identifying development needs of staff by discussing performance and recommending interventions.
• Ensures effective implementation of TESDA Quality Systems per ISO 9001:2015 through adherence to procedures.
• Initiates social marketing, advocacy and networking through orientations and career guidance sessions.
• Assists in directing and coordinating operations and activities of the office.
• Leads in preparing reports by coordinating and monitoring the submission of reports.
