Responsibilities

• Oversee depot operations, ensuring safety, efficiency and policy compliance.
• Supervise staff, monitor movements, document and authorize processes.
• Lead maintenance, housekeeping, and asset care to minimize delays.
• Enforce policies, conduct compliance checks, and manage expense reporting.
• Develop fire and oil spill readiness; conduct drills and pre-incident planning.
• Ensure IMS documentation and standardized forms are used.

What is this role about?

The role oversees and manages the operational activities of the depot, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with company policies. It includes supervising personnel, maintaining equipment and facilities, leading emergency response efforts, managing community relations, and supporting marketing objectives. The role also encourages innovation and fosters a safe, effective workplace that contributes to customer satisfaction and team performance.

What will YOU do?

• Ensure all staff meet individual tasks and contribute to team goals, with monthly performance reviews and KPI tracking.
• Monitor all product and non-product movements, ensuring they are properly documented, recorded, and authorized.
• Execute maintenance and housekeeping programs, ensuring assets remain in good condition and minimizing operational delays.
• Enforce company policies, guidelines, and procedures, and conduct regular compliance checks.
• Comply standard procedures for expense tracking, ensuring timely and accurate submission of all reports and documents.
• Develop skills and readiness for fire and oil spill response, conduct regular drills, and ensure pre-incident plans are in place.
• Ensure the use of standardized forms and maintain compliance with IMS requirements for all internal documentation.
• Lead safety meetings, conduct training, and ensure Emergency Response Teams are well-prepared for any situation.
• Represent the company positively in the community and participate in environmental and local government activities.
• Serve as Pollution Control Officer, ensuring compliance with DENR regulations and backing up PCO duties when necessary.

What will YOU need?

• At least 5 years experience in the same industry - with at least 1 year of people management experience
• Engineering license holder
• Required Training/Certification for the role: 1. Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Training (Basic Occupational Safety and Health (BOSH) or Construction OSH (COSH)), 2. Pollution Control Officer (PCO) Training (DENR Accredited), 3. Fire Safety Training (BFP), 4. Maritime/Port Compliance Knowledge (MARINA, PPA)
