Job summary

Cemex in the Philippines is seeking a maintenance professional to oversee corrective and preventive maintenance on terminal equipment, ensuring continuous operations. The role requires supervising teams, planning tasks, and preparing reports.

The candidate should hold a Professional Engineer license in a related field, have at least 2 years of experience, and be fluent in English. Willingness to participate in training and corporate activities is expected.

Qualifications

• Professional license required in Engineering (Chemical), Electrical/Electronic, Mechanical, or Mechatronic/equivalent.
• English language proficiency required.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of operation supervision, production planning, and team management.
• Experience in mechanical/electrical or equivalent fields is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct corrective maintenance by assessing equipment and executing work orders to ensure continuous terminal operations.
• Perform preventive maintenance on electrical, automation and instrumentation systems.
• Prepare and submit monthly/annual maintenance reports and status updates.
• Adhere to Environmental Health and Safety policies to maintain accident-free operations.
• Participate in departmental meetings and trainings for career development.

Job Description:

• CORRECTIVE MAINTENANCE -Assess terminal equipment situation at start of day; Implement assigned work orders and checklist of activities; Perform required inspection and calibration, troubleshooting testing and checking needed for all electrical controls, instrumentation and automation equipment IN ORDER TO support and maintain continuous terminal operations
• PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE -Perform planned preventive electrical, automation and instrumentation maintenance activities IN ORDER TO ensure timely and accurate accomplishment of deliverables and efficient terminal operations
• REPORTS -Prepare the yearly budget for terminal maintenance. Prepare and submit monthly maintenance activities of the terminal. Prepare and submit daily job status and inspection reports
• ENVIRONMENT HEALTH AND SAFETY -Comply to corporate policies on environmental, health and safety so as to conform w/ governmental policies. Maintain accident-free operation
• CAREER DEVELOPMENT -Participate in departmental meetings, trainings and other corporate activities IN ORDER TO achieve personal and career goals

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• Candidate must possess at least Professional License (Passed Board/Bar/Professional License Exam) in Engineering (Chemical), Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Mechatronic/Electromechanical) or equivalent.

• At least 2Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
