Job description

Services Tender Engineer — Shaping Value Through Services

Are you curious about how Services business helps shape the future of energy, sustainability, and customer experience? We’re looking for people motivated to explore, learn, and make a real contribution.

You'll be part of a dynamic and collaborative environment where curiosity is encouraged, ideas are valued, and continuous learning is part of the journey. Every proposal you help build has a direct and tangible impact on our customers’ operations.

Here, you’ll develop your expertise while working with purpose, ownership, and teamwork—values that guide how we act, collaborate, and deliver value every day.

Your mission as a Services Tender Engineer

As part of our Services Tendering Team, you play a key role in supporting customers across the full lifecycle of their assets, helping ensure reliability, efficiency, and continuous performance. Every offer you build contributes to customer trust, long‑term partnerships, and sustainable business growth. Tendering is a key enabler, turning customer needs into viable, valuable, and deliverable Services solutions.

Your mission is to design, structure, and promote Services offers that truly fit customer needs—technically reliable, commercially balanced, and operationally executable. Acting as a key link between Sales, Operations, and the wider ecosystem, you ensure offers are competitive, realistic, and valuable throughout the asset lifecycle.

What you’ll be doing
  • Analyze low to medium complexity RFQs related to Services solutions such as maintenance, modernization, and recurring services.
  • Understand customer context beyond specifications, translating needs into clear, value‑driven proposals.
  • Build techno‑commercial offers using validated inputs from technical, financial, and operational teams.
  • Promote lifecycle and recurring Services as a natural part of customer solutions.
  • Coordinate with Sales, Finance, Operations, Purchasing, and execution teams to deliver optimized and customer‑centric offers.
  • Apply tendering processes, governance, and risk analysis to ensure quality, profitability, and compliance.
  • Ensure smooth and structured handover to Operations once opportunities are won.
  • Take ownership of scope, pricing, deadlines, and documentation, from initial analysis to final approval.
Who we’re looking for
Background & experience
  • Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
  • 3+ years of experience in Tendering, Services, or lifecycle‑oriented roles.
  • Solid knowledge of MV & LV electrical systems and installed base environments.
  • Understanding of Services business models (maintenance, modernization, recurring, spares).
Digital & commercial mindset
  • Strong commercial awareness and pricing sensitivity.
  • Comfortable working with digital tools and structured processes.
  • Experience reading, writing, and managing tender documentation.
  • Data‑driven approach to tendering, leveraging digital tools, automation, and AI‑enabled solutions to support decision‑making and proposal quality.
  • Knowledge of tools such as CPQ, Salesforce, or similar platforms is a plus.
The mindset that makes the difference
  • Proactive and anticipative: you don’t wait for issues to arise.
  • Ownership‑driven: you feel personally accountable for what you deliver.
  • Customer‑focused: you aim to solve real needs, not just respond to requests.
  • Collaborative and structured, with strong communication skills.
  • Curious, adaptable, and comfortable evolving in a changing environment.
Languages
  • Spanish (native or bilingual)
  • Fluent English
  • Portuguese is a plus
Why join us?

Because here, Tendering is more than producing offers. It’s about contributing to better decisions, strengthening customer relationships, and enabling Services to deliver long‑term value. If you enjoy combining technical understanding with commercial thinking and want to see the real impact of your work, we’d love to meet you.

What do we offer?
  • Permanent contract within a global and purpose‑driven organization.
  • Competitive salary, aligned with your experience and role scope.
  • Flexible compensation program with tax advantages, including life insurance.
  • Employee shareholding program (WESOP), allowing you to become a Schneider Electric shareholder under preferential conditions.
  • Club Schneider, offering exclusive discounts on products and services.
  • Training and development plan, with access to our global learning platform to support both professional and personal growth.
  • Global recognition program, celebrating contributions and achievements.
  • Flexible working time.
  • Opportunities for long‑term career development within a global, diverse organization.
  • Location: Madrid or Barcelona.
