Job summary

CBRE Asia Pacific is seeking a Property and Technical Officer in Taytay, Rizal, Philippines, to act as both a technical specialist and a customer relations anchor during handover of residential units.

The role involves managing defects, coordinating with the Construction Management Team, and maintaining long-term tenant relationships to transform handovers into positive community experiences.

Qualifications

• Must have a degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 1–3 years experience in property turnover, customer relations, hospitality, or construction coordination.
• Amenable to work in Taytay, Rizal and Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Create targets for ESG and implement ESG initiatives within the organization.
• Conduct joint technical walkthroughs and inspections with new unit owners during handover.
• Document all defects and log punch-list items for turnover.
• Manage owner expectations regarding technical specifications and warranties.
• Endorse defect lists to Construction Management or main contractor for rectification.
• Track contractor repairs daily and ensure timelines are met.
• Conduct re-inspections to verify quality before owner acceptance.
• Review and process technical fit-out or renovation plans submitted by unit owners.
• Issue work permits and monitor compliance with construction guidelines.
• Coordinate logistics for owner move-ins, including elevator scheduling and protection of common areas.
• Maintain an updated tracker of all units stages.
• Compile technical reports on recurring defects to improve future phases.
• Serve as the main empathetic contact for new owners and tenants.
