The Insurance Marketing Officer is responsible for promoting and selling insurance products to potential clients, maintaining client relationships, and achieving sales targets. This role involves understanding client needs, presenting suitable insurance solutions, and ensuring excellent customer service to drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Marketing
- Identify potential clients and business opportunities through networking, referrals, and prospecting
- Promote and sell insurance products (life, health, vehicle, or general insurance) to individuals and businesses.
- Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and referrals.
- Conduct follow-ups on policy renewals, claims assistance, and customer inquiries.
Advisory & Consultation
- Assess clients’ needs and recommend suitable insurance products.
- Explain policy features, benefits, premiums, and terms clearly.
Documentation & Compliance
- Prepare and process insurance applications, endorsements, and related documents.
- Ensure all activities comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Market Research & Reporting
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and client feedback to improve sales strategies.
- Submit regular sales reports and updates to management.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Finance, or related field (preferred).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and customer-focused.
- Knowledge of insurance products and industry regulations is an advantage.
