Job summary

COMMSEC INC. seeks a Telecom Supervisor/Coordinator for FTTX OSP to lead field teams during fiber optic installations and related activities. You will manage schedules, monitor progress, and ensure safety and compliance on-site in Pasay.

The role requires 3–5 years in telecom/OSP, experience with FTTX projects, and strong leadership and communication skills. Pasay assignment and immediate start are expected.

Qualifications

A Telecom Supervisor or Coordinator for FTTX OSP (Fiber to the X, Outside Plant) manages field teams, tracks network rollout progress, ensures safety rules are met, and solves technical issues during fiber optic cable installation, pole attachment, and trenching activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Management

  • Plan daily and weekly field work schedules.

  • Track project milestones and completion rates.

  • Report project status to upper management.

• Team Supervision

  • Lead field crews, sub-contractors, and splicers.

  • Assign tasks and monitor daily performance.

  • Ensure teams follow quality standards.

• Technical Oversight

  • Check OSP routes, fiber paths, and splicing logs.

  • Inspect aerial and underground installations.

  • Troubleshoot fiber deployment blockages.

• Safety and Compliance

  • Enforce strict on-site safety rules.

  • Secure local permits and right-of-way clearances.
