Job summary

InspiringPG, Inc. is seeking a Project Team Leader – Telecom Wireless Deployment to guide field construction teams in installing wireless base station equipment across Philippine sites. You will supervise tower activities, ensure safety, and deliver projects on schedule with quality standards.

The role requires hands-on Ericsson or Huawei deployment experience, 3+ years in telecom construction, and strong leadership. Travel across the Philippines is expected for long-term assignments.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead field teams in unloading and installation of wireless base station equipment.
• Supervise tower-top activities, antenna/RRU installation, feeder routing, grounding, and related works.
• Read and interpret construction drawings and technical specs.
• Coordinate hoisting activities with crane operators and rigging teams.
• Ensure work is performed per approved plans, quality standards, and project schedules.
• Conduct site self-inspections and correct defects before client acceptance.
• Assign daily work activities and coordinate manpower.
• Monitor attendance, productivity, and performance; provide on-site guidance.
• Address team concerns and escalate workforce issues when needed.
• Promote teamwork and clear communication across field personnel.
• Conduct daily safety briefings; verify certifications for Working-at-Height and lifting.
• Ensure PPE usage and compliance with safety procedures.
• Identify hazards and eliminate risk during tower and high-altitude activities.
• Maintain site records and documentation; photo progress and material usage.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Project Team Leader – Telecom Wireless Deployment to lead field construction teams in the installation and deployment of wireless base station equipment. This role combines hands-on telecom site supervision with team leadership, ensuring that construction activities are completed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications, quality standards, and timelines.

You will lead teams responsible for Ericsson wireless equipment installation, antenna and RRU installation, tower activities, feeder routing, grounding, equipment hoisting, and site acceptance, while coordinating closely with Project Supervisors, rigging teams, crane operators, and other project stakeholders.

What You'll Do

Lead Telecom Construction Activities

• Lead field teams in the unloading and installation of wireless base station equipment.

• Supervise tower-top activities, antenna and RRU installation, feeder routing, grounding, and related telecom construction works.

• Coordinate tower equipment hoisting activities with crane operators and rigging teams.

Manage Field Teams

• Assign daily work activities and coordinate manpower based on project requirements.

• Monitor team attendance, productivity, work discipline, and overall performance.

• Provide on-site guidance and resolve common technical and operational issues.

• Address team concerns and elevate workforce issues, including turnover and conflicts, to the Project Supervisor.

• Promote effective teamwork and maintain clear communication across field personnel.

Safety & EHS

• Conduct daily pre-job safety briefings and toolbox meetings.

• Verify the validity of Working-at-Height and lifting/rigging certifications of team members.

• Ensure proper use of PPE and strict compliance with site safety procedures.

• Identify and eliminate hazards during tower, high-altitude, lifting, and construction activities.

• Inspect slings, lifting tools, and rigging equipment before use.

• Immediately report safety incidents, unsafe conditions, and other EHS concerns.

• Ensure compliance with applicable telecom construction and Philippine safety requirements.

Materials & Documentation

• Manage material requisition, storage, usage, and recovery of surplus materials.

• Monitor equipment and materials to prevent loss, damage, or unnecessary consumption.

• Report material shortages and site resource requirements to the Project Supervisor.

• Take construction progress photos and maintain required construction, quality, and safety documentation.

• Ensure site records are complete, accurate, and submitted on time.

Site Coordination

• Coordinate with Project Supervisors, subcontractors, riggers, crane operators, and other field personnel.

• Report site access constraints, material shortages, technical concerns, and construction issues.

• Assist in resolving site and project concerns to prevent delays.

• Support emergency response and implement appropriate actions during unexpected site situations.

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or higher; a degree in Telecommunications, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

• At least 3 years of experience in telecom base station construction.

• Proven experience leading teams in Ericsson or Huawei wireless installation projects.

• Experience in Ericsson RAN deployment is highly preferred.

• Strong hands-on experience in antenna installation, RRU installation, feeder installation, grounding, tower activities, and equipment hoisting.

• Experience in Philippine telecom construction projects is highly preferred.

• Knowledge of telecom construction standards, grounding systems, lightning protection, and EHS requirements.

• Ability to read construction drawings and execute site activities independently.

• Strong understanding of working-at-height and lifting safety requirements.

• Working-at-Height or Safety Officer certification is an advantage.

• Good oral and written English communication skills.

• Strong leadership, coordination, problem-solving, and emergency response skills.

• Willing to travel and be assigned long-term anywhere in the Philippines and move between project sites.
