Job Description
We are looking for a highly capable and motivated Team Leader to oversee field teams involved in the installation, maintenance, and construction of telecom infrastructure (e.g., towers, fiber optic lines, base stations). The Team Leader will be responsible for managing day-to-day on-site operations, ensuring safety, quality, and timely completion of tasks, and coordinating with both internal teams and subcontractors.
This position is open to candidates residing in Benguet, La Union, or Bulacan, or those willing to be assigned in these project areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a team of technicians, linemen, riggers, or subcontractors in telecom construction projects.
- Monitor site progress and ensure work is completed according to project schedules, standards, and specifications.
- Coordinate with engineers and project managers regarding plans, work assignments, and technical concerns.
- Ensure strict compliance with company safety protocols, DOLE Occupational Safety and Health Standards (OSHS), and site regulations.
- Conduct site inspections, toolbox meetings, and daily task briefings.
- Assist in material handling, tool inventory, and on-site troubleshooting.
- Submit daily reports, work documentation, and site photos to management.
- Liaise with local contacts, property owners, or LGUs as needed for permits or access.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of company tools and equipment.
- Train and mentor junior team members to improve productivity and safety awareness.
Qualifications:
- At least a Vocational Course, TESDA Certificate, or College Level in any technical or engineering-related field.
- Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in telecom projects such as fiber rollout, tower erection, BTS installation, or site acquisition.
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience is strongly preferred.
- Must be able to read and interpret telecom plans, diagrams, or work orders.
- Familiar with telecom materials, tools, and testing procedures (e.g., OTDR, splicing, tower safety).
- Physically fit and willing to work at heights (with Working at HeightsCertificate) or in field conditions.
- Can drive and preferably with a valid driver’s license (RC 1, 2).
- Trustworthy, with strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills.
- Must be willing to be assigned to projects in Benguet, La Union, or Bulacan.
