Job summary

Fiber home is seeking an experienced Telecommunications Engineering Manager to lead telco projects (Huawei) in the Philippines. You will plan, execute, and close programs, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

You will mentor engineers, monitor KPIs, and liaise with senior management and clients to report status, risks, and outcomes. A strong background in fibre optic systems and network design is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience in electrical or electronic engineering, with 2-3 years in leadership or supervisory roles.
• Proven expertise in telecommunications infrastructure, fibre optic systems, or related telco technologies.
• Strong understanding of industry standards, safety regulations, and best practices in telecommunications engineering.
• Demonstrated ability to manage teams effectively with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
• Technical competency in network design, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Willingness to mentor and develop junior engineering staff.
• Preferred: Experience with project management software and technical documentation systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of telco projects (Huawei), ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Manage technical resources and coordinate with cross-functional teams to optimise project workflows and delivery.
• Monitor team performance metrics and KPIs, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, industry regulations, and company policies across all telecommunications operations.
• Liaise with senior management and clients to communicate project status, risks, and outcomes.
• Troubleshoot technical challenges and provide expert guidance on electrical and electronic systems within telecommunications infrastructure.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and records of team activities, project outcomes, and technical specifications.
