Job summary

Accenture Philippines seeks an experienced lawyer to lead the review, drafting and negotiation of complex technology and commercial agreements. You will independently structure transactions, advise executives on legal and commercial risk, and support deals across digital, consulting, SI and outsourcing services.

The role requires practicing law in the Philippines with 4+ years in relevant areas, strong IP/risk understanding and excellent English/Filipino communication.

Qualifications

• Currently practicing law in the Philippines.
• 4+ years experience in digital, consulting, systems integration and/or outsourcing in fast-paced teams.
• Experience negotiating and drafting technology-based agreements.
• Principle-based negotiator able to present alternatives and solutions.
• Ability to manage a high volume of transactions independently.
• Strong understanding of IP and risk in technology transactions.
• Excellent written and spoken English and Filipino.
• Basic understanding of finance, accounting, marketing and management.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Lead the review, drafting and negotiation of complex technology and commercial agreements in a fast-paced corporate environment. You will independently structure transactions, advise executives on legal and commercial risk, and support deals involving digital, consulting, systems integration and outsourcing services.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Draft and negotiate master services agreements, outsourcing agreements, statements of work, SLAs, licensing, SaaS and data-transfer agreements.
• Support transactions involving cloud, security, automation, systems integration and agile development.
• Structure and close client transactions with a high degree of autonomy.
• Advise business leaders on contracting, legal and risk-management issues.
• Develop internal playbooks, guidance, toolkits and knowledge materials.
• Track market and legal developments and apply them to transactional practices.

REQUIREMENTS

• Currently practicing law in the Philippines.
• At least 4 years of increasingly responsible experience in digital, consulting, systems integration and/or outsourcing, gained in a law firm or fast-paced corporate legal or transactional team.
• Demonstrated experience negotiating and drafting technology-based agreements.
• Accomplished principle-based negotiator able to present alternatives and proposed solutions.
• Ability to manage a high volume of transactions independently.
• Strong understanding of contracting and risk issues, including IP, in technology transactions.
• Strong executive presence and excellent written and spoken English and Filipino.
• Basic understanding of finance, accounting, marketing and management.

PREFERRED

At least 2 years of experience negotiating intellectual property and data privacy issues.
