Job summary

Assist World is seeking a highly capable Virtual Assistant to support a business owner managing a construction firm and a growing furniture retail store. The role requires ownership across operations, systems, and visual/design tasks with a strong focus on Shopify and product visualization.

You will manage emails, organize data, create visual content with Canva, and work with Shopify integrations to enhance product layouts and reporting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years experience as a Virtual Assistant or similar role.
• Strong English writing and verbal communication.
• Proficient with Shopify and Canva for visuals.
• Experience with Power BI and Excel for reporting.
• Ability to manage multiple email inboxes and automation tasks.
• Proactive, organized, and capable in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage and organize multiple inboxes (3+)
• Set up email rules, filters and automations
• Respond to emails on behalf of the client (suppliers, internal communication)
• Summarize key updates and flag important items
• Work within Shopify to manage and support product-related tasks
• Research and implement Shopify apps and integrations
• Pull product items from Shopify into tools or workflows
• Assist in improving systems and operational workflows
• Assist with email marketing campaigns
• Create and edit visual content using Canva
• Support social media and content initiatives
• Assist with data tracking and KPI reporting
• Work with Excel (Power BI is a bonus)

  • Shopify (ESSENTIAL)
  • Canva or similar design tools

• Comfortable creating visual product layouts (especially furniture or similar)
• Strong email management and organizational skills
• Fluent English (written and verbal)
• Have hands-on Shopify experience
• Be able to work with Shopify apps and integrations
