Job summary

VA Masters is seeking a detail-oriented E-commerce Image and Shopify Assistant to support our growing online art and home décor brand. You will prepare product imagery using Photoshop smart object templates, export web-optimized files, and maintain Shopify listings.

You will resize images for Shopify and social channels, apply SEO-friendly naming, ensure consistent presentation, and help expand listing across new sales channels.

Qualifications

• Strong working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, with PSD templates.
• Experience exporting web and print-ready images in multiple formats.

Job Summary:

We're happy to welcome a detail-oriented E-commerce Image and Shopify Assistant to support a growing online art and home décor brand. This role centers on preparing product imagery using pre-built Photoshop smart object templates, exporting web-optimized files, and maintaining product listings on Shopify. The ideal candidate is highly precise with file preparation, comfortable working inside an established design system, and reliable enough to take ownership of recurring image and listing workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Insert supplied high-resolution artwork into pre-built Photoshop (PSD) smart object mockup templates

• Export high-resolution master files (TIFF) as well as compressed, web-ready versions for online use

• Resize and format images to the correct specifications for Shopify, Instagram, and other online sales channels

• Apply SEO-friendly file naming conventions and keyword-based image titles

• Upload and manage product listings on Shopify following an established product template

• Update, edit, and remove product information on Shopify as directed

• Maintain consistency of product presentation and image quality across the storefront

• Support product listing preparation for additional sales channels as the business expands

• Assist with general administrative and operational tasks related to the online store as needed

Mandatory Skills:

• Strong working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, specifically smart objects and layered PSD templates

• Experience preparing and exporting images in multiple formats and resolutions for web and print

• Understanding of image optimization for e-commerce (file size, dimensions, load speed)

• Hands-on experience managing product listings in Shopify

• Familiarity with SEO basics for image naming and product listing optimization

• Excellent attention to detail and consistency across repetitive design tasks

• Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently

• Strong communication skills and responsiveness

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working with art, print, home décor, or lifestyle product catalogs

• Familiarity with Etsy or other online marketplace listing management

• Basic copywriting ability for product descriptions written in a natural, non-generic voice

• Understanding of Shopify themes and general store maintenance

• Ability to manage multiple product batches and deadlines simultaneously

• Willingness to take on additional operational tasks as the store grows
