This hands-on role combines instructional design, workshops, and safety compliance, partnering with SMEs and team leads to translate complex concepts into accessible, practical materials and measurable outcomes.

Conducts learning needs analysis for functional topics (basic) and soft skills
Design, update, and maintain powerpoint presentation, technical manuals, StandardOperating Procedures (SOPs), and quick-reference guides.
Create multi-modal learning content, including hands-on lab exercises and visualquick-guides.
Partner with Subject Matter Experts and Team Leads, to translate complex technicalconcepts into accessible training materials.
Deliver hands-on, instructor-led training (ILT) and/or virtual instruction on robotoperation, safety standards, routine maintenance, and basic troubleshooting.
Conduct onboarding training for new hires
Run technical training workshops and certification sessions for robot operators
Conduct New hire orientation and soft skills training for employees
Enforce industrial safety standards (e.g., ISO 10218, ANSI/RIA R15.06) across alltraining environments and simulation setups.
Ensure all trainees pass rigorous safety protocols before operating hardware inreal-world or laboratory settings.
Build assessment tools, practical evaluations, and certification criteria to measure traineecompetency.
Gather feedback post-training, analyze performance metrics, and iterate on trainingprograms to continuously improve effectiveness.
Track completion rates and certifications. Update and maintain Training RecordDatabase.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Robotics, IndustrialTechnology, Education, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
Experience: 2–4 years of experience as a Technical or Functional Trainer
Technical Aptitude: Ability to navigate basic robot movements using a controller. Mustpass the TeleOp tryouts.
Communication: Exceptional presentation, verbal, and written skills; comfortablecommanding a classroom or facilitating hands-on workshop setups.
Direct experience with industrial or service robotics (e.g., FANUC, ABB, KUKA, UniversalRobots, or autonomous mobile robots/AMRs).
Familiarity with safety standards (OSHA, RIA, ISO).
Technical Agility: Fast learner who can quickly adapt to hardware/software updates
and product iterations.
Empathy & Patience: Skill in breaking down complex multi-step technical workflows fornon-technical users or novice operators.
Problem-Solving: Resourceful in troubleshooting simulation rigs or setup issues duringlive sessions.
