Job summary

CallTek in Cebu City is seeking a Technical Trainer to design, develop, and deliver comprehensive training on technical systems and networking concepts. You will create course materials, exams, and hands-on labs, and conduct sessions in person, virtually, or via blended learning.

The role requires at least 3 years in a technical training position, strong English communication, and the ability to travel to other sites as needed. Shift flexibility and proactive content updates are welcome.

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor’s degree in computer technology, information systems, engineering, or related field.
• Must have at least 3 years of experience in a technical training role.
• Proficient in VLAN, routing, OSI, VPN, IP subnetting, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.
• CCNA or similar certifications preferred but not required.

We are looking for a Technical Trainer.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and facilitate comprehensive training programs on technical systems, tools, and processes, with a focus on both foundational networking and advanced technical concepts.
• Assess training needs by collaborating with managers, HR, and technical teams.
• Design course materials such as manuals, presentations, e‑learning modules, and hands‑on labs.
• Create exams and quizzes for operations agents to reinforce learning and strengthen skills.
• Conduct training sessions in person, virtually, or through blended learning methods.
• Evaluate training effectiveness using feedback, assessments, and performance metrics.
• Update training content regularly to reflect new technologies, processes, or organizational changes.
• Support learners by answering questions, troubleshooting issues, and providing follow‑up guidance.
• Collaborate with Account Specific Trainers to ensure accuracy and relevance of training content.
• Customize training content to align with organizational goals, client expectations, and industry standards.
• May be required to travel to other sites to conduct face‑to‑face training.

Qualifications:

• Must have a Bachelor’s degree preferably in computer technology, information systems, engineering, or any related field.
• Must have at least 3 years of experience in a technical training role.
• Experience in designing and developing training material is preferred but not required.
• Proficient knowledge of VLAN, routing, OSI, VPN, IP subnetting, and different networking protocols such such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc
• Technical Certifications such as CCNA, Ruckus Certification, and others are preferred but not required.
• Proficient in using MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
• Must have excellent oral and written English communication skills.
• Must have excellent facilitation, presentation, and listening skills.
