Job summary

CloudManila Philippines Inc is seeking an IT Support Technician to install and configure hardware, operating systems, and software for workstations. You will troubleshoot, document issues, and perform preventive maintenance to ensure system reliability.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure hardware and peripherals, including software for the hardware.
• Install and configure the operating system including setup of user accounts.
• Install and configure software applications.
• Troubleshoot, document and resolve problems affecting operations, escalate when needed.
• Perform preventive maintenance of hardware and installed software.
• Install and configure the desktop LAN and grant access to network resources, including related equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve desktop LAN issues and network access, escalate if necessary.
• Provide reports on usage of IT resources as required.
• Facilitate desktop operation requests as needed.

• Responsible for the installation and configuration of hardware and peripherals, including installation and configuration of software pertinent to the hardware.

• Responsible for the installation and configuration of the operating system including set-up of necessary account profile.

• Responsible for the installation and configuration of software applications.

• Troubleshoots, documents and resolve problems that affects the operation and efficiency, and to escape to next level if necessary.

• Responsible for the preventive maintenance of hardware and installed software.

• Responsible for the Installation and configuration of the desktop LAN including access to authorized network resource(s). As may be required, this is to include select network equipment.

• Tasked to troubleshoot, document and resolve problems affecting the desktop LAN and access to authorized network resource(s), including select network equipment, and to escape to next level if necessary

• Responsible for providing reports pertinent to usage of any IT-related resource as may be required.

• Facilitate desktop operation requests appropriate to level, as may be required from time to time.

Job Specifications:

• With a Bachelor’s / College Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or any related courses.

• With at least 6 months of working experience in the same capacity.
