Job summary

Media Display Solutions, a brand of United Neon Advertising, Inc., in Cebu City seeks a highly resourceful Technical Support Engineer to assist clients with audio-visual and LED display systems. You will support Sales Engineers, develop integrated AV solutions, translate requirements into technical specs, and ensure quality with pre-event checks.

The successful candidate has a Bachelor's in Electronics Engineering and 2–3 years in technical support or field engineering, with strong MS Office

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering or related course.
• 2–3 years of technical support, system maintenance, or field engineering experience, preferably in audiovisual, display, or LED system operations.
• Experience in aftersales operations, project implementation, or client support is highly preferred.
• Experience in supervising contractors or coordinating with external service providers is an advantage.
• Experience in SLA-based service delivery and licensed Engineer is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical support to MDS clients.

What we're looking for

We're looking for a highly resourceful technical support engineer that can assist the Media Display Solutions' Team on delivering above expected outcomes and is very particular in details.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Provides technical support to MDS clients.

• Assist Sales Engineers in performing product demonstration and site ocular.
• Develop and implement audio-visual integrated solutions.
• Translate customer needs and requirements to system, component, and software solution specifications.
• Quality checking of media display units prior events and/or projects.
• Conducts installation, configuration and dismantling.
• Conducts troubleshooting, repairing and preventive maintenance activities.
• Conducts network diagram planning and drawing.
• Conducts user training of both software and hardware in coordination with the assigned Solutions Engineer.
• Prepares post project reports including photo and video of task completed.

2. Establishes good relationship and coordination with the Project Manager, Solution Engineers, Sales team, internal divisions, and contractors.

• May supervise contractors' work from time to time.

3. Provides technical support to UN-owned, partnered, and contracted media display solutions.

• Quality checking of media display units prior to events and/or projects.
• Conducts installation, configuration and dismantling.
• Conducts troubleshooting, repairing and preventive maintenance activities.
• Conducts network diagram planning and drawing.
• Prepares post project reports including photo and video of task completed.
• Perform Content Management.

4. Provides routine checks of all UN-owned LED sites.

• Photo and Video Taking as required.
• Conducts site maintenance and equipment inventory.

5. Monitor Spare Parts inventories and submit monthly reports.

6. Conducts repair of spare parts and accessories.

7. Provides assistance in product testing and analyzing.

8. Performs other related tasks such as those listed below, but not limited to:

• Provides effective business development and professional sales service, proposals and submissions, contract, develop customer relation and representation for UN products and services.
• Make a monthly calendarized work coverage plan.
• Maintain organized and accurate filing of data and documents.
• Maintain confidentiality as to its appropriateness to documents, information, files and data involving United Neon and its engagement.
• Initiate and answer communications within the team and to other departments as it may be necessary to involve along the course of its duty.
• Help team to provide production and accomplishment based on KPI.
• Make regular business report.

Educational Background and Work Experience:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering or any related course.

1. Minimum 2–3 years of technical support, system maintenance, or field engineering experience, preferably in audiovisual, display, or LED system operations.
2. Experience in aftersales operations, project implementation, or client support is highly preferred.
3. Experience in supervising contractors or coordinating with external service providers is an advantage.
4. Experience in SLA-based service delivery and licensed Engineer are advantage.
