Job summary

Goldilocks Bakeshop Inc. in Metro Manila seeks a Regulatory Affairs professional to manage FDA product registrations, licenses, and compliance documentation. You will maintain regulatory databases, review labels, and monitor regulatory changes, coordinating with agencies as needed.

You will develop training materials on food safety and regulatory compliance, support inspections and audits, and act as the company representative for FDA transactions to ensure adherence to standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Food Technology, Nutrition and Dietetics or related courses.
• Licensed PFT and/or RND preferred.
• Basic knowledge of food regulations, product registration and packaging labeling requirements.
• Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, ISO 22000 or Halal requirements is an advantage.
• Experience or exposure in food safety training is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, submit, and maintain regulatory documents for FDA product registrations, licenses, and other compliance requirements.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date regulatory databases for registered products, manufacturing facilities, and FDA submissions.

• Review product information, labels, and packaging materials to ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and company standards.

• Regularly monitor updates to FDA regulations, advisories, and food labeling requirements, and communicate relevant changes to concerned stakeholders.

• Coordinate with appropriate regulatory agencies (e.g., FDA, BAI, DTI, and other government agencies) regarding product registrations, licensing requirements, compliance matters, inspections, and regulatory inquiries.

• Support FDA inspections and internal or external audits by preparing and providing required documentation.

• Develop training materials and conduct food safety and regulatory compliance training for employees.

• Serve as the designated company representative for FDA-related transactions and regulatory matters.

• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Food Technology, Nutrition and Dietetics, or related courses. Licensed PFT and/or RND is preferred.

• Preferably with at least one (1) year of experience in Food Safety, Quality Assurance, or Regulatory Compliance in the food industry.

• Basic knowledge of food regulations, product registration and packaging labeling requirements.

• Knowledge of or familiarity with food safety management systems such as GMP, HACCP, ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, or Halal requirements is an advantage.

• Knowledge of export requirements and international food labeling regulations is an advantage.

• Experience or with exposure in developing and conducting food safety training is an advantage.

• Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and digital content creation/editing tools (e.g., Canva).
